A woman who was told smoking was bad for her health fell out of a hospital window while having a sneaky cigarette. Inge Brunner lost her balance and fell 20 metres. But she escaped serious injury after falling into an Ash tree outside the German hospital. She was able to walk back inside and was treated for cuts and bruises. The 25-year-old was visiting a friend who was a patient at the hospital in Tuebingen. She said: "I'm going to give up smoking straight away. I had asked the doctors if I could smoke inside and they said no and that it was bad for my health. I ignored them and decided to smoke out the window so no one would know. But I lost my balance." She added: "I've learnt my lesson. No more cigarettes for me." Story filed: 19:40 Tuesday 17th July 2001 CHECK FOR MORE ON: INTERACTIVE:
